Fred spoke at the banquet. We heard about the operation of the ship, from a "subdriver" perspective. We learned of the many accomplishments of the 2 Queenfishes (He served on both.) Best of all though, were his humorous anecdotes. Commander McLaren enjoyed a friendly "give and take" with Steve Apple; ("Apple! Get a haircut."), for the the duration of the reunion. This culminated at the banquet with "Apple" letting Fred cut a lock of his hair. There were a lot of good laughs. Thanks Fred.
